The Perfect Day

It really was the perfect day.
The first day of any three day weekend is always good, but this past Saturday was really good. We all woke up relatively late and Sebastien and Genevieve snuggled with us a bit. Then we went to our favorite breakfast place to get our favorite meals, then headed to our favorite beach (Wallis Sands in Rye, NH) for an afternoon of beach fun that could have been (sniffle) our last beach day of the season.
Afterwards we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa in York, Maine to see how the contstruction of their house is coming. (I should have taken a picture.) We could walk through all of the rooms at this point.
We then drove to Perkins Cove and had dinner at the Oarweed. Dan and I were shocked at how many steamers the kids ate. I think Dan got about 3 and the kids ate the rest!

 Mmmm..steamed clams.

We took some pictures on the rocks afterwards and unexpectedly got to watch the full moon rise over the water.

We were on our way back home after a walk around the cove and trip to the candy store. It really was a good day!
