Spring is here!

Yesterday Becca Masse and her friend Nicole Mayotte and I took Sebastien to the park in Dracut because it was such a nice day. Sebastien loved swinging. Now that it's nice out, I think we'll be making plenty of trips to the park!

Baby Expo in Boston

Here are some pics that highlight our week:
Below: I took a picture of Sebastien in his bear suit because with the warmer weather, he may never wear it again. He now has a fleece-lined jacket that should get him through Spring. Good thing too because he had just about outgrown this.

On Saturday, my friend Nicki and I took our boys to the Baby Expo in Boston. We got some good loot (or "s.w.a.g. - stuff we all get) such as baby food, coupons, a diaper, a boppy cover, etc. There was fun stuff for the older babies and kids. Nicki's baby Luke was in the crawling race below. Here are all the babies at the starting line.

Below: family picture - but it was self-timed so we didn't have a way for someone to make Sebastien look at the camera.

Our St. Patrick's Day 6 month old

Well today is officially Sebastien's 6 month birthday! Wow, how time flies. I think the first 6 weeks seemed longer than these last 4.5 months. Sebastien goes to the doctor tomorrow for his check-up but I already know he weighs 20 1lbs 14 oz, per our baby scale. He looks like a little chunker in the pictures below, but in real life, he seems less chubby. I guess the camera does add a few pounds, right? Sebastien is consistently rolling over from front to back and back to front. He also rotates around in a circle while on his tummy. He continues to amaze Dan & I (and everyone around us) with his laid back attitude. He's a happy little clam!

Bye Bye Indiana!

I am now updating my blog from back in NH. It was a bit of a crazy end to a really wonderful week (more about that later) in Indiana. Betsy and her kids came to visit at my parent's house Saturday morning. Nora is 19 months and Atticus is around 23 months. (Sorry, Betsy I can't remember exactly). What I can remember though is that these 2 cuties are a handful! They are really sweet little kids, but boy do they like to run around. It's no doubt they keep Betsy & Paul in shape!
Below, Betsy holds Nora and Atticus:

Atticus & Nora chase Monet up on the couch where she calculates how to escape.
Below: Not too long after Betsy left, Elaine, Mike, & little Jack Mehlberg came to visit. Jack is 8 months old. He's a little heartbreaker with huge blue eyes. It was so good to see them.

So here's where the craziness starts. Sebastien and I said our goodbyes Sunday morning and my parents dropped us off at the airport. We made it fine to Detroit but our next flight to Manchester was cancelled about 30 minutes before we were suppose to board. They could only rebook me for the following day (Mon) at 5pm AND only if I went to Boston instead of Manchester. So I took it and then luckily Dan's dad helped me book a hotel room. Also, we had no luggage. So that was sure interesting. From the hotel, Sebastien and I had to take a $45 cab ride to get more formula because I wasn't sure if I could make it until we got home with what I had on me. (And of course we ended up just barely not needing it... go figure!) The hotel had a baby crib for us, so that was good since Sebastien can now roll over. And as luck would have it, he peed through the only warm outfit I had for him. I aired it out overnight and he wore it the next day!

Below: I'm very glad the hotel had a crib for us, although it does look like a mini prison.

Below: Napping on the plane. We had an extra seat next to us. So nice!

Now we're home and adjusting to the normal life routine again. I miss Mom and Dad in South Bend, but at least we had a great week and got to see tons of family.
