VIDEO: 1st time eating rice cereal!

Here is Sebastien's first time eating cereal. I mixed his formula with the cereal, per the directions. It looked like formula soup. He did really well, as you'll see. A lot came back out but I'm told that's to be expected for about the first week. If you want to fast-forward to the end you can see how happy he is about the cereal. :)

VIDEO: Eating his fists

Sebastien's all time favorite thing to do at the moment is shove his fists in his mouth over and over again. He just seems determined to fit both inside. Here are some of his attempts:

4 Months Old

Today Sebastien had his 4 month checkup. He is doing just fine. He is 26 in tall (90th percentile) and weighs 18 lbs 3 oz (90th percentile). I think his head is only 75th percentile though. At first the nurse was concerned because his head showed in the 5th percentile, but then she realized she was looking at the chart for 9 month olds. Whew! The doctor said Sebastien can start eating rice cereal but no veggies until 6 months. So soon we'll try the rice cereal and see how that goes.
Below is Sebastien showing us he likes to read:

Trying to roll over from back to front. He's much closer this way than front to back.
All bundled up for the negative outdoor temps!
I walked into the room the other day and Gwynnie's head was resting like this but on his butt. Before I could grab the camera, she moved her head to his leg.

VIDEO: Sleepy Morning Play

This is a rather boring video, but I haven't posted a video in a while and was feeling guilty. This is all he had to give this morning. :)

Professional Pictures

On Sunday of this weekend, we took Sebastien to the mall to get some professional pictures taken. He was asleep when we got there and I was afraid that he wouldn't wake up in order for us to take his picture, but luckily he did. He was a VERY coooperative picture-taker. He did, however, take a nice big poo right in the middle of the session. This first picture below was taken right after he woke up so he's a little groggy. So far his eyes are holding to their dark blue color. Maybe you can tell from these pictures. If you want to see all 15 of the photos that we purchased digitally, just email me at kimberly.masse@yahoo.com and I'll send you a link. Or if you want to see all 50 pictures that we took, I can also give you the link to the professional site and tell you how to log in. You can also order from there. Enjoy!

It was hard to keep his hands out of his mouth during the photo shoot!

Post Christmas

Sebastien didn't have daycare these past two weeks due to the holidays so I had plenty of time to sneak downstairs from my "office" and snap pictures of the little guy. Some days he stayed at Grandma & Grandpa Masse's house too. Here are some post-Christmas pictures. Oh, and we just booked our flights for end of February for Sebastien and I to fly to South Bend for a week. Yeah!

He hasn't given up on trying to get his entire hand in his mouth.
Sometimes he tries both hands.
One of my new favorites.
