Tired Mommy

Well I think I cursed myself in the last blog. Since I wrote that, he hasn't slept more than 4 hours in a row at night :( It's usually bursts of 2-4 hours in a row with waking times of 2 hours in between. I'm not sure what's going on. It's the opposite of what I was told would happen: once he hit 10 lbs, he stopped sleeping through the night instead of starting to! Anyway here are some smiley pictures.

Weight gain!!

Sebastien is 5 weeks old now. He had a relatively good week last week. Since I've been supplementing with a bottle after each feeding, he's been generally happier, less funny, and is gaining weight. He was 9'4 when we took him to the doctor last Friday so he's finally above his birthweight. I can tell he's getting bigger. His belly is rounder and his little legs are filling out. Also, he slept 7 hours last night and the night before so there's nothing to complain about there! Enjoy the pictures below. In the first two, he poses for Halloween pictures, but isn't too happy about it at first. Later when he fell asleep I took a picture so you could see the cute pumpkin on his backside.
Big stretch!

How grown up he looks here! The little man is making more and more fun faces.

First Smiles!

I only caught the tail end of these smiles but he is now smiling real smiles...opposed to gas-induced smirks. He has to be in a good mood (usually after eats) to show us his smile. Below, Becca does her homework with Sebastien and Gwynnie has a napping partner now.

Corn Maze - first "family" outing

We went on our first outing as a family to the cornmaze today. A group of friends came too. Also, here's a close-up picture of Sebastien. His eyes look especially big here.

More pictures...

Here are some more pictures from this week. Dan got home from Atlanta last night so we're happy about that but sad that Grammy Patty goes hom today. I'm wondering how I'll get everything done on my own!
