Kim's Birthday

Thursday was my birthday and I heard the best words when I woke up. Dan said he wasn't going to work that day - surprise! It was the best possible gift. We had a truly awesome day. After lazily having breakfast and coffee, we took the kids to an indoor bouncy house place so Sebastien could bounce around. He's been there before but was really cautious. This time he had no fear and even went on the 2 story slide. Genevieve enjoyed crawling around and watching all of the kids play.

"Weeeee!"

After visiting the bouncy house place, we came home for lunch and naps. The kids both took their 2 hour naps at the exact same time, which was another birthday treat. Our friend Rick came over with his boys for dinner and we then went to the Atkinson Country Club for their tree lighting festivities - hey rides, hot chocolate & cookies, Santa, music, etc. We didn't want to stand in line for Santa but we showed him to Sebastien from afar and he seemed to like the idea of Santa. It's nice that Sebastien can say words like "Christmas Tree" and "Santa" this year and know exactly what they mean.
