We're starting to really get into the Christmas spirit now. My brave Thursday playgroup mommies, Rachael and Adrianne, and I helped the kids bake cookies on Thursday at Rachael's house. It was um...interesting. Despite burning almost half the cookies - because the timer would go off and we wouln't hear it over 6 kids - we still managed to each walk away with a plate of cookies...albeit with burnt edges and globs of frosting and sprinkles. Below are Rachael, Adrianne, and kids cutting out cookies.

Below: Sebastien's idea of frosting cookies means frosting a cookie, licking off the frosting, putting more frosting on the cookie, licking it off again..well you get the idea.
Santa came to our Friday morning Hamsptead playgroup!Sebastien has never seen Santa before so I was pretty surprised when he ran up to him and was the first kid in his lap. He was too shy to talk to Santa, however, but was very happy to warm his lap. Genevieve was a bit nonchalant about the whole thing.
