Pool time

Finally it's been warm enough to use the pool this summer. Despite the 90 degree weather, Sebastien still is not a fan of swimming in the cold water so we bought a little raft for him to sit in where only his bottom and legs get wet. Gwynnie also was thrown in the pool a handful of times so she could get used to using her "skamper ramp". After a few tries, she got the hang of it.

Our (Next) Big Announcement!

Sebastien has an announcement. If you can read his T-Shirt below, you'll see that it says "I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER!"
That's right! Sometime around St. Patrick's Day 2010, Sebastien will have a new sibling to play with. Kim is about 9 weeks along and we had an ultrasound today to confirm that all is as it should be. The little boy/girl looks a bit like a blob right now in the picture, but is about the size of a gummy bear.
(I labeled the picture to help it make more sense. You may need to click on it to see it larger.)
We're so excited!

York Beach Vacation

Last week we were on vacation for the entire week at Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. Sebastien was the first member of the 4th generation to vacation at the Sea Spray cottages. Dan's grandma used to rent them for the entire summer and he spent his childhood summers at this beach. It was very nice to give Sebastien that same opportunity. Below is us standing in front the famous Nubble Light.

Sebastien definitely is a beach baby. He loves it!
This was our setup on the beach.
Nicole Mayotte and Becca took good care of Sebastien. He spent a lot of time playing on the front porch. If you look behind Nicole, you can see the beach is right there!
One night we went to Fun-O-Rama and Sebastien enjoyed some rides. We enjoyed the Ski-Ball.
Grandma & Granpa Masse got him this cute fish towel with his name on it.
On a cloudy day, we visited the Wiggly Bridge and took a hike by the ocean. Sebastien loves his backpack and later fell asleep in it mid-hike.
